Don Nelson currently serves as chief information officer at Vistaprint. In this role, he is responsible for the global Capabilities team that focuses on delivering strategic outcomes through the combination of people, process, and technology. The Capabilities team partners with the business to deliver measurable and strategic outcomes in areas such as automated manufacturing, dynamic marketing, optimized supply chain and logistics, state of the art call centers, web experience, technical infrastructure and operations, and strategic partnerships. Don joined the company in 2006 where, prior to assuming the role of chief information officer in 2008, he served as senior vice president of Capabilities Development for the company.
Don brings over twenty years of experience in the consulting and technology industries. Prior to joining Vistaprint, he served as chief information officer at Sapient, where he started in 1993 as a software engineer, then later as vice president before assuming the role of chief information officer in 2001. In his thirteen years at Sapient, Don had direct responsibility for leading project organizations focused on delivering solutions to Fortune 500 clients such as Wells Fargo, Hallmark, Cooper Tire & Rubber, Janus and Kodak.
Don received a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Gordon College.
